1.Passed in 2nd PUC / 12th Std / Equivalent Exam with aggregate of 50% marks conducted by the respective
state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian
Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology as optional
subjects individually. “However, the students possessing 10+2 qualification from non-formal and non-class rooms
based schooling such as National Institute of Open Schooling, open school systems of States etc. shall not be eligible
for admission to B.Pharm Course.
2.Admission selection for the University quota is based on RUAS AT scores, CUET- UG scores are also accepted
and RUAS AT will be exempted for these candidates

Government of Karnataka Quota and Indian Students Under University Quota
Terms and Conditions
1. The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought. The
maximum age limit for admission shall be 35 years.
2. Minimum Educational Qualification
a. Candidate with Science who have passed the qualifying 12th Standard examination (10+2) and must have obtained
a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together and passed in English individually.
b. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of
Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government having Science subjects and English only.
c. English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for being eligible for admission to B.Sc. (Nursing).
3. Colour blind candidates are eligible provided that colour corrective contact lens and spectacles are worn by such
candidates.
4. Candidate shall be medically fit.
5. Married candidates are eligible to apply
6. Students shall be admitted once in a year
Foreign Students Under University Quota
The students should satisfy the following conditions:
i. Equivalent qualification to 10+2 and approved by the Association of Indian Universities.
ii. Institution and University will be responsible to ensure that the qualification and eligibility will be equivalent to
what has been prescribed by the Council.
iii. Proof of proficiency in English

1. Qualifying Examination
• A Candidate seeking admission to first year Bachelor in Physiotherapy (BPT):
i. Should have passed the two-year Pre-University examination conducted by Department of Pre- University
Education, Karnataka State, with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional
subjects. The candidate should have individually passed English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subjects and
obtained a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
OR
ii. Shall have passed any other examination conducted by boards/Councils/Intermediate examination established by
State Government/Central Government and recognized as equivalent to a two year Pre-University Examination of
Karnataka State with English Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subjects. The candidate should have individually
passed English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subjects and obtained a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics,
Chemistry and Biology.
• In the case of a foreign national, an equivalence certificate needs to be obtained from the approved authority as per
the University Statutes
2. Age:
i. A candidate seeking admission to Bachelor of Physiotherapy course should have completed 17 years of age, as on
31st December of the year of admission.
ii. Every candidate before admission to the course shall furnish to the Dean of the Institution a certificate of Medical
Fitness from an authorized Government Medical Officer to the effect, that the candidate is physically fit to undergo
Physiotherapy course.
3.Admission process will be based on RUAS AT . Scores from CUET-UG are also accepted and RUAS AT will be
exempted for these candidates
